Quantitative assessment of neuro-degenerative diseases & brain poly-trauma in CT
The BrainView project aims at developing advanced tools for (1) quantitative assessment of the brain structures, (2) anatomical and dynamical modelling of the cerebral ageing process, (3) estimation of the blood-brain barrier permeability, and (4) evaluation of anti-oedemic therapies for advances in the knowledge and treatment of neuro-degenerative diseases (including Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases) and brain poly-trauma.
