MPEG-21 aims at enabling transparent and augmented use of multimedia resources across a wide range of networks and devices used by different communities. Within this framework, ARTEMIS efforts are focused on watermarking technologies. The main purpose is to provide industrial actors with:
♦ trustworthy multimedia content transmission
♦ interoperable interfaces;
♦ flexible and viable solutions for in-band content enrichment.
